ScienceFrontier Waiver Policy

ScienceFrontier provides waivers and discounts to authors from developing countries who are publishing in ScienceFrontier journals.

Current Research in Scientific Journals is an open-access journal, which ensures that all content is freely accessible without any charges to users or their institutions. Users have the liberty to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles without needing prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Additionally, Current Research in the Scientific Field charges a publication fee, which is adjusted on a sliding scale. This scale offers reduced rates for authors from low and middle- income countries.

For Authors:

Current Research in Scientific Journals provides fee waivers based on the following criteria:

  •  Authors from Lower Middle-Income Countries receive a 20% waiver on the actual Article Processing Charge (APC).
  •  Authors from Lower-Income Countries receive a 50% waiver on the actual APC.

Authors from Lower Middle-Income Countries receive a 20% waiver on the actual Article Processing Charge (APC).

Authors from Lower-Income Countries receive a 50% waiver on the actual APC.

These waivers are granted based on the quality of the submitted work and other special considerations. The decision to approve or reject a waiver application rests with Current Research in Scientific Field and will be communicated to the corresponding author within one week of the request.

To apply for a fee waiver, authors should submit their application along with the manuscript online to info@sciencefrontier.com The application should include the following details:

  •  Name of the author and co-authors
  •  Name and address of Institution
  •  Manuscript title
  •  Manuscript abstract
  •  Reasons for requesting a fee waiver
