Editorial Work Flow

Upon the successful submission of a manuscript, the author will receive an acknowledgment. Every manuscript undergoes a plagiarism check and a preliminary quality control (QC) review. If the manuscript passes this initial review, it will be assigned to one of our distinguished editors who specializes in the relevant field. This editor has the authority to accept, reject, or request revisions based on the manuscript's quality. The editor may also delegate the review process to 2-3 experts in the same field.

These reviewers have the discretion to accept, reject, or suggest revisions based on the manuscript's quality and originality. A manuscript will be accepted if at least two out of three reviewers approve it. If any reviewer recommends major or minor revisions, the corresponding author will be informed and asked to make the necessary changes. If at least two out of three reviewers recommend rejection, the manuscript will be rejected, and the author will be notified.

Revised manuscripts will be checked against the reviewers' comments and, upon their approval, will be published. However, the final decision at any stage of the editorial process rests with the editor. Manuscripts submitted to other journals, previously published articles, plagiarized content, or copied articles without proper references will be strictly rejected. ScienceFrontier adheres to a rapid 14-day peer review process, provided all submission details are accurate. The full text and PDF versions of accepted articles will be available online within 3-5 days of acceptance under "Article in Press."
