Types of Scientific Articles Accepted by ScienceFrontier Publishing

Research Article

Research articles, based on original research, are widely accepted and provide innovative information. There are no strict limits on word count, figures, tables, or references, but lengthy manuscripts are subject to the publisher’s discretion. An abstract is mandatory, and scientific findings must be supported by detailed experimental procedures and validated through statistical methods. Any scientific misconduct in data handling and reporting is unacceptable.

Review Article

Review articles summarize recent developments on a specific topic, providing an up-to-date reference of existing literature. They do not report new research findings. There are no word, figure, table, or reference limits, but an abstract is required.

Mini Review

Mini-reviews focus on recent developments in a particular field, offering a concise summary of advancements and trends. They are shorter than full review articles, with a word limit of 2000 words, up to 6 figures/tables, and 25 references. An abstract is mandatory.

Short communication

Short communications report novel findings and aim to be the first to do so. These articles provide brief descriptions of new techniques or methodologies without extensive background information. They are prioritized for fast-track publication and are limited to 1500 words, 7-25 references, and 4 figures/tables. An abstract is required.

Case report

Case reports document clinical evaluations and medical histories of patients, highlighting significant or unusual findings. They include detailed clinical diagnoses with relevant proofs like photographs and scans, while ensuring patient anonymity. They are limited to 2500 words and may include 7-30 references. Opinion

Opinion articles present authors' viewpoints on previously published topics. These articles discuss various attributes and may support or counter the original work, backed by evidence. They are editor- reviewed, not peer-reviewed, and are limited to 1000 words, 2 figures/tables, and 10 references.

Letter to Editor

Letters to the editor provide comments, criticisms, or evaluations of articles published in Sciencefrontier journals. They must be scientifically relevant and well-substantiated. Letters are editor-reviewed, with a word limit of 1000 and a reference limit of 10.

Editorial

Editorials offer the editor’s perspective on the current issue or articles of the journal. They can be submitted by editorial board members or guest authors/editors and should relate to the journal's scope. They are limited to 1000 words with no reference limit.

Special issue submission and acceptance process:

Calls for special issue invitations are open year-round, with deadlines specified in each call for papers. Submissions should include a list of contributions with an introduction, detailed abstracts, and biographical notes for each article. If additional information is required by reviewers, authors must provide it.

When submitting for the special issue, the following points should be considered:

List of contributions including introduction should be provided while submitting the special issue topics. Each submitted article should include Bio-note, Authorship, Detailed abstract focusing on the goals, Methodology, Results and Conclusions for their novel research work. Original Research
